The Clubs beginnings go back to September 1970, when a group of Sheltie enthuasists gathered at Pat Atkins home. It operated as a Social Club for several years (as per CCCQ regulations) only being able to have Parades. After an accepted period of time it became affiliated with Dogs QLD (CCCQ).
The Club holds it's Championship and Open shows every year, bringing in Specialist Judges and where possible, International Breed Specialists. We enjoy these events and look forward to each new year to welcome the new members and new Ideas to keep our Club continuing.
